The Vashulinga Sugar & General Industries Limited (VSGIL), Vijay Nagar, Lamki Chuha-10, Kailali, Nepal is a diversified business house in Nepal established in 1994, having installed capacity of 2500 TCD sugarcane crushing per day. Even after successful run of 10 crushing Seasons, the company intent to re-start closed Sugar Plant with upgrading capacity to 3500 TCD, 600 TPD sugar refinery and 25 MW co-generation power.
The industry is being promoted under the banner of a public limited company. The company was registered with Registrar of Company on 19th April, 1994 as a limited company with a provision to offer certain percent of shares to general public.
The objective of industry is to produce sulphurless refined sugar and its byproducts. During the production process plant can generate power from bagasse that can be utilized for the plant itself and excess power can be sold to Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). Another byproduct is molasses, which can be used for production of distillery product such as RS, ENA & Ethanol Fuel and in additional byproduct including Bio-Compost fertilizer, Flyash Bricks, Particle board & Paper can also be produced and commercialize.
